Instructions
Step 1
Separate the wings into drums and flats and add them to a bowl.
Step 2
Add in the vegetable oil and mix, ensuring all the wings are coated.
Step 3
Add the salt and pepper to the wings and mix.
Step 4
Add in the garlic and onion granules and the (MSG optional) and mix.
Step 5
Add in the paprika and mix again, adding the spices separately ensures that they do not clump together.
Step 6
Now sprinkle the baking powder over the wing and then sprinkle the cornflour over the wings and give a light mix coating the wings.
Step 7
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Step 8
Spray the wire rack with oil and place the wings on the rack making sure there is a space between them.
Step 9
Put them in the oven and cook for 15 minutes before turning them and cook for a further 10-15 minutes.
Step 10
Add Red Bull to a pan, and heat until it has reduced by half.
Step 11
Add in the zest of a lemon and the juice of half a lemon and the crushed garlic clove and stir while the mixture reduces and thickens.
Step 12
Add in 2 tbsp of honey and between 3 and 5 tbsp of vodka, and 1 tbsp of butter stir until butter has melted and allow to simmer until it reduces and thickens.
Step 13
Once the sauce has thickened turn off the heat, while cooling the sauce will thicken further.
Step 14
Remove the wings from the oven once cooked and add to a bowl.
Step 15
Add the sauce to the bowl and toss the wings until coated in the sauce.
Step 16
Add to a bowl, garnish with lemon zest and chopped chives.
Step 17
Serve, lick you’re lips and enjoy.
