¾ cupwater
½ cupsugar
½ cuporange juice
¼ cuplemon juice
1 teaspoonorange peel
grated
2 tablespoonsorange liqueur
optional
2kiwifruit
medium, peeled, sliced and halved
2pears
medium, ripe, peeled and chopped
2Red Delicious apples
medium, chopped
2navel oranges
medium, peeled and sectioned
2 cupsseedless red grapes
halved
1pink grapefruit
medium, peeled and sectioned
Yogurt Sauce
Instructions
Step 1
For syrup, combine the first five ingredients in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes; cool. Stir in orange liqueur if desired.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the kiwi, pears, apples, oranges, grapes and grapefruit; add syrup and gently toss. Cover and refrigerate overnight. In a small bowl, combine sauce ingredients. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
