Instructions
Step 1
Cream the butter, sugar, and eggs

Add the sour cream and vanilla, mix until just combined
Step 3
Sift in the dry ingredients, mix until just combined
Step 4
Separate the dough into 2 logs, tightly wrapped in plastic wrap, and chill in the fridge for 2 hours
Step 5
Flour your surface and roll out each log to 1/4 inch thickness
Step 6
Cut out shapes using floured cookie cutters or a floured drinking glass
Step 7
Bake at 350F for 10 minutes, cookies should be puffy and soft when poked in the middle
Step 8
Leave the cookies on the hot baking tray for 4 minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack
