Instructions

Step 1
Place cans of stewed tomatoes, juice and all to the casserole pan, dicing up the tomatoes; drain and rinse the cans of beans adding to the pan. Add diced onion and garlic, as well as the brown sugar. Mix all of the above ingredients in the pan before placing the lid (or aluminum foil) and placing it in the oven. This recipe can me made vegetarian and vegan friendly by removing the bacon and substituting vegan/vegetarian brown sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes.
