Instructions
Step 1
Clean and slice fresh fig into fourth, transfer to a bowl.
Step 2
Cut and squeeze lemon juice from fresh lemon, set aside.
Step 3
Add sliced figs in a big pot, throw in sugar, lemon juice, mix well and bring to boil.
Step 4
Once boiling, simmer on medium heat for 35 minutes or so until figs become soft and fully cooked. Season with salt and mix thoroughly.
Step 5
Transfer to a blender and blend it for 10 seconds until it becomes evenly pasty.
Step 6
Remove and store in mason jar, seal and store in the fridge, serve as needed.
