Super Easy White Bread
9 steps
Prep:1h 50minCook:45min
This is a really easy to make white bread that uses honey and unsalted butter in place of sugar and oil found in many other white bread recipes. I weighed the amount of bread flour I used for this recipe and it came out to 19 and 1/8 ounces. You can convert to grams as necessary.

Instructions
Step 1
Combine water, milk, and honey in a microwave proof container and heat to between 105 and 115 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Stir in yeast to heated water, milk, and honey mixture and set aside to bloom for at least 5 minutes.
Step 3
In a stand mixer bowl, combine flour and salt.
Step 4
After yeast has bloomed for at least 5 minutes, combine the liquid ingredients to the flour and salt in the stand mixer bowl, and add the butter. Use the mixing paddle attachment on the stand mixer until the ingredients are just combined, then switch to the dough hook and run on medium-low speed for 5-6 minutes.
Step 5
Empty the mixing bowl on a plate and spray the bowl with cooking spray. Add the dough back to the mixing bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let rise for about 60 minutes in a warm place.
Step 6
After the dough has risen, empty the dough out of the bowl and gently press it down, forming it into a log shape to fit into an 8 1/2x4-inch or 9x5-inch loaf pan. Spray the loaf pan with cooking spray and place the dough into the loaf pan. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rise for 30 minutes.
Step 7
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 8
When the dough has risen just above the edge of the loaf pan, place it into the oven and allow to bake for 40-45 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
Step 9
Allow to cool in the pan for 20 minutes, then remove and allow the bread to finish cooling on a wire rack. Enjoy!
