Render Bacon
Step 2
Add Onions Sweat until tender but not brown.

Shred cabbage.
Step 4
Add Cabbage - Saute' 5 minutes.

Add Salt and Pepper to taste.
Step 6
Add wine, stock and cinnamon sticks.
Step 7
Cover and braise until tender - 20 minutes.
Step 8
Add apples, brown sugar and vinegar - mix well.
Step 9
Cook until apples are tender - 5 minutes
Step 10
Remove cinnamon sticks and discard.
