Instructions

Tomato sauce

Step 1
Chop the basil.
Step 2
Add all the ingredients to a small bowl and mix until well combined.

Sandwich

Step 3
Cut off the edges of the toast and flatten it with a rolling pin.
Step 4
Spread on the tomato sauce leaving a 0,5cm margin.
Step 5
Top it with the provolone cheese and pepperoni.
Step 6
Place the other slice on top and press the 2 slices together with a fork
Step 7
Crack the egg into a flat plate and whisk. Add the cheese to another plate.

Soak the toast in the egg and then in the cheese.
Step 9
In a pan heat up the sunflower oil. Fry the toast on medium heat until for about 1,5-2min on each side until crispy and golden brown. Enjoy!
