Instructions

Step 1
In a bowl, add 2 eggs, 60ml of milk, 1/2 Tbsp sugar, 1/4 Tbsp cinnamon powder, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until all the ingredients are combined.

Step 2
Soak 2 pieces of white bread. Let it sit in the egg mixture for 2-3 minutes.
Step 3
While you are waiting for your bread to soak everything in, turn on your pan to medium heat.
Step 4
Spread a layer of unsalted butter. Gently place one piece of bread. Cook for 2 minutes on each side.
Step 5
Once it's cooked, place your french toast on a plate. Pour maple syrup and sprinkle some powdered sugar (optional). You can even add a slice of unsalted butter on top (optional).
