Ingredients
12 servings
⅓ cupoat flour
store bought or just blend oats to make flour
1 tspcocoa powder
1 Tbspsweetener
I used, 0 calorie powdered sweetener but can use stevia, monk fruit
0.5 scoopvanilla protein powder
my flavor was vanilla ice cream
1 ½ tspbaking powder
salt
1 tspcinnamon
½ tspnutmeg
1egg
½ cupplain greek yogurt
if you aren’t using flavored protein powder then use vanilla yogurt or keep it plain greek yogurt and add more vanilla extract
1 tspvanilla extract
Cinnamon Sugar Topping
Chocolate Protein Dip (optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Start by adding oat flour, cocoa powder, natural 0 cal sweetener, protein powder, baking powder, pinch of salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix to avoid clumping.
Step 2
Add in 1 egg, low fat Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract. Mix again to combine till a thick consistency is reached.
Step 3
Pipe donut batter into a greased mini donut pan and bake for 15 mins at 350*F or 180*C.
Step 4
When done (start checking at around 12-13 mins, all ovens differ), let cool for 10 mins, take out, and flip over.
Step 5
For the cinnamon sugar, mix together your natural sweetener and cinnamon.
Step 6
Coat each donut with cinnamon sugar topping (you may need to lightly spray cooking spray on the top of each donut to help cinnamon sugar stick).
Step 7
If you’d like, to make chocolate protein dip, mix together greek yogurt and chocolate protein powder until combined. Dip your donut and enjoy!
