Caramelized tofu
Dressing
3 Tbspfish sauce
3 Tbsplime juice
freshly squeezed
2 Tbspbrown sugar
1 Tbsprice wine vinegar
1 Tbspwater
1 clovegarlic
grated or minced
1jalapeno
minced
Noodles
Instructions
Caramelized tofu
Step 1
Press the tofu for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2
Cut into 2 by 2 squares / rectangles.
Step 3
Mix coating ingredients until the sugar has dissolved.
Step 4
Heat up oil in pan and fry the tofu on both sides til golden brown.
Step 5
Reduce heat and add the mixture. Make sure to keep a close watch and quickly turn them over to avoid burning.
Dressing
Step 6
Mix all ingredients together until the sugar has dissolved.
Noodles salad
Step 7
Boil / put the noodles in hot water and rinse them with cold water when done. Place them in a bowl.
Step 8
Cut up your veggies into strips and assort them in the bowl.
Step 9
Finely chop the mint and peanuts and add them to the dish.
Step 10
Add the caramelized tofu.
Step 11
Pour over the dressing.
Step 12
Mix and enjoy!
