Ingredients

Pancakes:
1 cupKorean pancake mix
Store-bought
1 cupWater
neutral oil
2 cupsChives
chopped
¼ cupCarrots
thinly shredded
¼ cupOnion
sliced
1 cupImitation crab
shredded
Dipping Sauce
Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl, combine chives, carrots, onion, imitation crab, Korean pancake mix and water. Mix well.
Step 2
Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Step 3
Add 0.25 cup batter for each pancake. Make sure they’re not touching. Cook 3-4minutes.
Step 4
Flip pancakes. Gently press down to flatten them so they’re cooked more evenly. Cook another 3-4 minutes.
Step 5
For extra crispy pancakes, turn down heat to medium low and cook another 1-2 minutes on each side.
Step 6
For the dipping sauce, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, Korean hot pepper flakes and sesame seeds. Mix well.
Step 7
Tips: For extra crispy pancakes, heat skillet on medium high instead of medium. Put batter in. Cook 2-3 minutes than turn down heat to medium. Cook 1-2 minutes more. Flip pancakes. Cook 3-4 minutes. Turn down heat to medium low, cook an extra 1-2 minutes on each side. ( Total cooking time: about 10 minutes)
Step 8
Gently press down pancakes a few times during cooking.
