Instructions

Step 1
Wash and slice zucchinis with a potato peeler and set aside
Step 2
In a large sauce pan, add oil and diced onions, allow the onions to cook until they are translucent and slightly start browning.

Add ground beef to the onions and mix well, then add remaining meat sauce ingredients and let it simmer covered for 10-15 minutes.

For the béchamel, melt butter in a saucepan and add flour and mix well.
Step 5
Gradually add the milk while whisking.
Step 6
Add garlic powder, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese and whisk until it comes to a boil.
Step 7
It should thicken, then you can turn off the heat.
Step 8
Assemble the zucchini, meat sauce, shredded cheese, and béchamel sauce in layers like lasagna until all ingredients run out.
Step 9
Top it with sauce and shredded cheese and set it into a preheated oven at 375°F for 40 minutes.
Step 10
Remove and cut the lasagna and serve hot.
