Instructions

Step 1
Cook the black rice by steaming until tender, then set aside.
Step 2
Steam the salmon fillet gently until just cooked through and keep warm.
Step 3
Prepare the garlic soy sauce by heating olive oil on low heat, adding minced garlic and letting it release its flavor without browning, then adding soy sauce and a small splash of water, letting it warm together briefly.
Step 4
Place the rice on the plate and add the salmon on top.
Step 5
Finish with the garlic soy sauce, a sprinkle of sesame seeds, and finely sliced spring onion.
