Ingredients

2 Tbspolive oil

1onion
large, diced

2carrots
grated

2celery
finely chopped

4garlic cloves
minced

500 grminced beef

1 tspall spice

½ tspCinammon

½ tspgarlic powder

salt
to taste

pepper
to taste

800 grtomato passata

2 Tbsptomato paste

1 tspsugar

½ tspdried basil

1 tspdried oregano

2bay leaves

1beef stock cube

¼ tspfennel seeds

red chilli flakes

400 grspaghetti

parmesan cheese
to taste

basil leaves
to taste

½ cupwater
Instructions
Step 1
Finely chop vegetables




Step 2
Cook vegetables in pan at medium heat for 10 min





Step 3
Add ground beef and first round of spices and cook until beef is brown (around 5-10 min)





Step 4
Add 2nd round of ingredients, mix well and then let simmer for 1 hour. Check after 1 hour and add spices to taste then keep for another 10-20 min to become less liquidy (optional)











Step 5
Cook spaghetti: boil water with salt, add 75 gr of spaghetti person, boil at high heat for 8 min, then drain and serve

Step 6
Top off with Basil and Parmesan to taste
