Step 1
Make the Jello using a mixture of the crushed pineapple juice and water. Bring this mixture to a boil and measure out the amount of hot water required in the box jello recipe. ONLY USE THE AMOUNT LISTED FOR HOT WATER. IGNORE THE COLD WATER ADDITION.
Step 2
Put in refrigerator and let set until very thick, but not firm. It should stick to the side of the bowl when swirled with the consistency of vegetable oil.
Step 3
While jello is setting, combine the softened cream cheese with the crushed pineapple and set aside.
Step 4
Whip the whipping cream until it forms a soft peak and place in refrigerator until needed.
Step 5
When the Jello is ready (thick, not firm) add the cream cheese/pineapple mixture. When thoroughly mixed, gently fold in the whipped cream and refrigerate for several hours until completely set.
