Ingredients

For the wet batter
4chicken breasts
large, cut into small cubes
1egg
¾ cupwhole milk
1 Tbspvinegar
¼ tspsmoked paprika
¼ tspgranulated garlic
¼ tspcayenne pepper
¼ tspblack pepper
¼ tspsalt
For the breading
1 ⅓ cupall-purpose flour
½ tspsmoked paprika
½ tspgranulated garlic
¼ tspcayenne pepper
½ tspblack pepper
1 tspsalt
For the creamy hot honey dip
Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl whisk together the egg, milk, vinegar, smoked paprika, granulated garlic, cayenne pepper, black pepper and salt. Add to it the cut chicken cubes and mix it around. Let it marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes or overnight.
Step 2
In a container with a lid whisk together the flour, smoked paprika, granulated garlic, cayenne, black pepper and salt.
Step 3
Before frying, use a slotted spoon to remove the chicken pieces from the milk and add it to the flour. Place the lid on and toss until all the chicken pieces are coated.
Step 4
To shallow fry, heat up oil on medium high heat in large skillet or cast iron pan. Once hot, fry the chicken in batches until golden brown, flipping if needed. Remove on to a wire rack and season with salt immediately while hot.
Step 5
To make the dip, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, hot honey, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and salt.
