Instructions
Step 1
1. Warm milk in sauce pan until 110 degrees Fahrenheit 2. Pour into medium bowl and add yeast letting sit for 2 minutes until softened
3. Stir in brown sugar and 1 cup flour
4. Dice 2 tbs butter and soften; stir into mix
5. Add Remaining flour and fine salt 6. Knead for about 5 minutes
7. Shape into a ball and let sit until doubled in size, about 2 hours
8. Divide dough into 6 pieces and roll/ stretch them into desired pretzel shapes.
9. Dissolve baking soda into 3 cups water
10. Dip each pretzel in soda solution and arrange on baking sheet and sprinkle with course salt.
11. Bake in 450 degree preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes
12. Remove from oven and coat in remaining butter
