Instructions
Step 1
Combine. egg yolks and buttermilk; beat well. Add combined flour baking powder, soda and salt. Stir in butter.
Step 2
Beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
Step 3
Gently fold into batter. Bake in preheated waffle iron set at medium heat until steam stops and waffle is golden brown, about 8-minutes. (Cool, wrap and refrigerate or freeze waffles). To serve, place on baking sheet; reheat in preheated 375° F. oven about 5 to 8 minutes. Yields approximately 14 small waffles
