Ingredients

1.5 lbschicken
fresh ground, or turkey
1onion
medium, chopped
0.5green bell pepper
medium, chopped
1clove garlic
2 x 10 ozcans diced tomatoes and chopped green chilies
undrained
1 x 15.5 ozcan dark red kidney beans
undrained
1 x 8 ozcan tomato sauce
2 tblchili powder
1 tspground cumin
½ tspsalt
¼ tspcrushed red pepper flakes

Instructions
Step 1
Combine chicken, inion, pepper and garlic in a large saucepan; cook over medium-high heat 6-8 minutes or until chicken is cooked and pepper is ender, stirring frequently.
Step 2
Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer, uncover, 20 minutes to blend flavors.
Step 3
Serve in bowls topped with chopped ionion, shredded cheese and sour cream, if desired.
Step 4
Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours
