Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl, add all the dry ingredients (minus the semolina). Mix with your hand and add the egg, repeat the mixing.
Step 2
Slowly add the warm water until a not-too-sticky ball forms. Work with your hands for 5 minutes or until completely homogenous. (You may want to add more water if necessary)
Step 3
Wet the dough ball with vegetable oil, and divide it into golf sized balls. Let them rest for 15 minutes. Once that’s done, spread them very thin with your hands in a circle on an oiled counter. Spread semolina flour on every layer when folding (check out the video on my socials for the technique!)
Step 4
Once the folded dough has also rested for 15 minutes, spread it once more and cook it in an oiled pan on both sides on medium-high heat. Serve with honey or anything you’d like!
