Instructions
Step 1
Sift flour, matcha powder, baking powder and salt. Mix and set aside.
Step 2
Beat the egg in a large bowl 30 sec until frothy. Slowly add sugar while mixing, until tripled in volume.
Step 3
Add the dry ingredients in 3 batches until incorporated.
Step 4
Heat butter and milk (be careful not to boil,) add the oil and vanilla.
Step 5
Add a bit of the matcha mixture to the butter and milk mixture, stir to combine, then add all to the matcha mixture.
Step 6
Bake at 180C/350F for 15 min
