Step 1
Beat butter and sugar together, adding eggs and vanilla. Stir in the rest of the ingredients, blending together well. Pour into well greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from oven and drizzle 1/2 cup sugar mixed with juice from one lemon over loaf, completely covering. Cool in the pan.
