Instructions
Step 1
In 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add beef; cook about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until brown on all sides. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Spray 4- to 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place onions in cooker. Place beef on onions. In medium bowl, mix remaining ingredients; pour over beef and onions.
Step 3
Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 to 10 hours.
Step 4
Using slotted spoon, remove beef and onions from cooker. Cut beef into slices or break into pieces. Skim fat from beef juices in cooker, if desired. Serve beef with juices.
