Dutch Apple Pie

Dutch Apple Pie is the perfect combination of apples, brown sugar and cinnamon, topped with oodles of crumb topping in an all butter crust. I used a homemade pie crust, however you may use a pre-made crust if you prefer. I toss my apples with lemon, it brightens their flavor just like it does for berries. The filling in the pie sets up nicely once baked. This pie is so delicious you may not be able to stop at just one slice. Enjoy!

All Butter Pie Crust
1 ¼ cupall purpose flour
¼ tspsalt
½ cupbutter
put the butter in the freezer long enough to get very cold, then grate it, return it to the freezer til your ready to use it It incorporates into the flour faster and more evenly grated
¼ cupwater
very cold, you can also put this in the freezer til it has ice crystals on it
