Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F and line or grease a muffin pan.

Add the pumpkin, eggs, sugar, olive oil, vanilla, and maple syrup to a blender. Pulse until smooth.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Pour the batter from the blender into the bowl with the dry while whisking. Whisk them together until smooth and no streaks remain.

Fold in ½ cup chocolate chips.
