Instructions

Step 1
In a large pot, bring the 8 cups of water to a boil.
Step 2
Remove the pot from heat and add the chamomile tea bags (or loose-leaf tea in a tea infuser) to the hot water.
Step 3
Let the tea steep for about 5-7 minutes or until you achieve a strong chamomile flavor. Adjust the steeping time to your taste, keeping in mind not to oversteep, as chamomile can become bitter.
Step 4
Remove the tea bags or tea infuser and discard them.
Step 5
Stir in the honey while the tea is still warm. You can adjust the amount of honey to your preferred level of sweetness.
Step 6
Allow the chamomile tea to cool to room temperature, and then refrigerate it until it's thoroughly chilled.
Step 7
Before serving, fill glasses with ice cubes and add a lemon slice to each glass.
Step 8
Pour the chilled chamomile iced tea over the ice and garnish with a fresh chamomile flower or lemon slice, if desired.
Step 9
Serve the Chamomile Iced Tea to your guests.
