Instructions

Meat balls

Step 1
Chop the parsley and grate the parmesan cheese.
Step 2
Add all the ingredients except for the olive oil to a bowl and knead well. If the dough is too sticky add more bread crumbs.
Step 3
Form the meat dough into small balls with a diameter of about 3cm.
Step 4
Heat the oil in the pan. Add the meat balls and fry for about 1-2min each side. After frying remove from the pan.

Sauce

Step 5
Dice the onion, mince the garlic and chop the basil.
Step 6
Heat the oil in the pan. Leave the heat on medium. Add the onions and fry for about 2-3min until translucent.
Step 7
Add the garlic and fry for another 30s.
Step 8
Pure in the red wine. Let it reduce for about 2min.
Step 9
Now add the canned tomatoes. Let the sauce simmer for 5min before adding the meat balls. Cook for another 10min.

Sandwich

Step 10
Cut the baguette in half and slice the mozzarella.
Step 11
Top the bottom baguette half with the mozzarella. Bake in the oven at 180 degree grill station for about 5-7min until the cheese is melted.
Step 12
Top the bottom half with the arugula and meat balls.
Step 13
Stack the other baguette half on top and enjoy!
