Instructions
Step 1
Combine all ingredients for the dough. Knead for 6-8 minutes until completely smooth. Cover and let it rest for 1-2 hours until doubled.
Step 2
Mix all ingredients for the filling.
Step 3
Degas the dough, then roll it out into a rectangle (not too thin) and spread the filling evenly over the entire dough.
Step 4
Roll up the dough, cut lengthwise and braid the two pieces so that the surface with the filling is always facing up.
Step 5
Cover the dough and let it rise again for 30-45 minutes.
Step 6
Spread with some plant milk and bake at 180°C for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
Step 7
For the icing, mix some powdered sugar with milk and glaze the dough with it. (optional)
Step 8
Let it cool completely.
