Instructions

Step 1
Split the egg yolks from the egg whites.

Add the egg yolks to the egg whites and gently mix by hand.

Add in the flour and the baking powder. Mix by hand until well combined. Do not overmix.

Pour the mixture into a pan covered with baking papper. Use a larger pan to have a thiner layer of trileche. The thiner it is, the more moist it will be.

Bake for 10 minutes on 200 degrees Celsius. Then 30 min on 150 degrees Celsius.

Take the cake out of the pan and poke it with a fork or a toothpick on both sides.

Pour the whipping cream into the same pan and afterwards transfer the cake into it.

Mix 700 ml milk with 400 ml condensed milk. Pour the mixture on top of the cake.

Spread the caramel sauce on top.

Let it cool for several hours.
