What defines perfect fried chicken? Well, it depends on whom you ask. Now, I'm not saying that my recipe for Fried Chicken is perfect. What I have created is a universal recipe for fried chicken that the average home cooks will very much enjoy, while the more advanced cooks will see room for additional modifications, and that is the very point of this recipe. So follow it as is or use it as a guide that helps take your fried chicken to the next nevel.

Dredge the chicken 1st in the wet mix, then in the dry mix. Repeat this step for a double dip. Pro tip: Use 1 hand for dredging in the wet mix and 1 hand for dredging in the dry mix in order to prevent clumpy flour in either mix.
