Oreo Protein Baked Cheesecake

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 160c fan. Blend the oats into a flour and mix in the syrup as well as the cream from 10 oreos. Put the oreo discs to the side to use them later. Press this mixture into the base of a lightly greased cake pan.
Step 2
Mix together the skyr, cream cheese, egg, syrup, baking powder, cornstarch until smooth.
Step 3
Create a water bath in the oven by pouring hot water into a tray and placing a wire rack over the tray (to place the cake pan on so no water seeps through).
Step 4
Pour half the center mixture over the base and evenly spread the oreo discs evenly around the pan. Then pour the remaining mixture over the top.
Step 5
Place in the oven for 40 minutes at 160c and then a further 60 minutes at 100c. Allow the cheesecake to cool completely before taking out of the pan and slicing.
