Instructions

Step 1
Cream together the butter and the sugars

Stir in the flour and the salt
Step 3
Mix until dough comes together
Step 4
Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour

Preheat oven to 180°C

Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut the cookies using a cookie cutter of your choice, for half of the cookies, use a smaller shape to cut out the center

Transfer the cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Bake at 180°C for 10 to 12 min
Step 9
Let the cookies sit on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
Step 10
Put some jam on the cookies without a shaped and some powdered sugar on the cookies with a cut out center and put the cookies with the powdered sugar on top of the ones with jam
