Apple Aioli

7 steps
Prep:20min
This is a sweet & sour aioli that works to brighten heavier dishes. Like a mushroom or bean burger, use in salad dressings, served with baked veggies. Why is this a fall/winter recipe? Managing to add your fruit serving during winter might be the easiest thing to do as in winter we seek warm food. This is warming because of the raw garlic. Look at the ingredients, simple & healing. Aioli is an emulsion of garlic and oil found all over the Mediterranean countries. In the conversation, there are two topics you will enjoy: 1. What to do with apple peel 2. How to reduce the pungency of raw garlic.

Step 3
Place the garlic in a container with the pinch of salt and the lemon juice and zest.
Step 4
Peel & slice your apple, save the peel and check out the topic of what to do with apple peel in the conversation section. Place in the container with the garlic.
Step 5
Using a multi purpose blender, standing or hand blender. Blend the ingredients to a smooth consistency.
Step 6
Here you start drizzling in the olive oil slowly as it blends to create a thick consistency.
Step 7
And done. Place in a sterilized jar in the fridge, it can last a week in the fridge.
