I used Spaghetti
¼ cuppasta water
1 Tbspvegetable oil
0.5onion
thinly sliced
2 clovesgarlic
sliced
2 tspginger
grated
Pork belly marinade
250gpork belly
sliced
2 Tbspgochujang
2 Tbsplight soy sauce
½ Tbspsesame oil
1 Tbspmirin
1 Tbspbrown sugar
¼ tspsalt
¼ tsppepper
1 cupkimchi
Garnish
Instructions
Step 1
Mince the garlic, ginger and sliced the brown onion. Set aside.
Step 2
Combine the pork belly with Gochujang, light soy sauce, sesame oil, mirin, brown sugar, salt and pepper. Mix well and marinate for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Cook the pasta to Al Dente and reserve pasta water.
Step 4
Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add brown onion and saute for 2 minutes or until it is slightly softened.
Step 5
Add the kimchi and stir for 1-2 minutes or until it is cooked.
Step 6
Add the marinated pork belly and stir it until cooked.
Step 7
Add the pasta back to the pan along with the pasta water.
Step 8
Mix them thoroughly until the sauce and pasta combine.
Step 9
Garnish with sesame seeds, spring onions, parmesan cheese and enjoy!
