Instructions
Step 1
Whisk together flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
Step 2
Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add egg yolks, eggnog, and rum extract.
Step 3
Gradually mix in dry ingredients. Chill the dough for an hour.
Step 4
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop chilled dough onto baking sheets.
Step 5
Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
Step 6
For the glaze, beat cream cheese until smooth. Blend in eggnog, then slowly add powdered sugar until creamy.
Step 7
Drizzle glaze over cooled cookies and sprinkle with nutmeg.
