Step 1
Dissolve gelatine powder in water and set aside. Place milk, cream, and sugar in a pot.
Step 2
Cut the vanilla pod in half, scrape out the beans, and add them to the pot. Heat the mixture to 80°C to melt the sugar and warm the milk and cream for approximately 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add the gelatine when the mixture is slightly steaming, ensuring not to boil it. Turn off the heat once the gelatine has melted.
Step 4
Strain the mixture through a sieve into a pouring jug. Pour it into four mini dessert bowls, gently tapping to release any air bubbles.
Step 5
Allow the desserts to cool slightly on the counter before refrigerating for 2-3 hours.
Step 6
Serve with a strawberry fruit sauce or fruit of your choice, accompanied by fresh strawberries.
