Instructions

Step 1
Start by making the chai. Combine the water, tea, spices, and sugar in a pot. Let it come to a boil, and then add the evaporated milk and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Let it cool down.
Step 2
In the meantime, cream the mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla bean until smooth. Gradually add the cold heavy cream until its well incorporated and whip on high until stiff peaks are formed.
Step 3
To assemble, dip your ladyfingers into the cooled chai and place the first layer in the pan. Spread half of the vanilla mascarpone cream on top. Follow by another layer of the chai-dipped ladyfingers and the rest of the mascarpone. Allow to cool for at least 2 hours. Dust with cocoa powder and enjoy!
