Dough:
3 cupsall-purpose flour
3 Tbspsugar
1zest of lemon
2 tspground cardamom
freshly ground is best
1 packetinstant yeast
2 ¼ tspactive dry yeast
¾ cupwater
warm
4 Tbspunsalted butter
melted
⅛ tspsalt
2eggs
lightly beaten

Instructions
Step 1
Mix the flour, sugar, cardamom, lemon zest and yeast together in a large bowl.
Step 2
Combine the water, melted butter, salt and eggs together and then add to the bowl of flour.
Step 3
Stir until a soft dough forms and then turn out onto a well-floured board and knead dough for a few minutes until smooth and elastic.
Step 4
Cover the dough and allow to rest for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Meanwhile, butter a 9" x9" baking pan and set aside.
Step 6
After the dough has rested, place onto a well-floured board and roll into a 8" x 14" rectangle.
Step 7
Spread the lingonberry preserves evenly on the dough and roll up jelly-roll-style. pressing the edges to seal.
Step 8
Cut the roll into 9 equal pieces and place the slices cut side facing up in the pan.
Step 9
Loosely cover the pan with plastic wrap and allow to rise until double in size, about 1 hour or so.
Step 10
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. When the rolls have risen, place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Step 11
Allow the rolls to cool for 15 minutes while you prepare the glaze.
Step 12
Mix the powdered sugar with the butter and then stir in the milk and lemon juice until smooth.
Step 13
Drizzle the rolls with the glaze.
