Sean’s brown bread (adapted)
Required:
900g/2 Lb loaf tin
I 2lb loaf tin Lined with greaseproof paper
A cooling rack
Clean washed tea towel to wrap bread
Preheat oven to 200 degrees C or 180 degrees C/350 degrees F for fan assisted oven or gas marked 6.

Step 1
Mix contents of Sean’s authentic brown Sodabread mix into a bowl, with 1 handful of bran, 1 handful of oats and a teaspoon of tsp of Sodium bicarbonate (sifted)and mix well. Add beaten egg to milk and mix well. Then pour this liquid into dry ingredients to form a dough. Put mix into lined loaf tin. Heat in preheated oven for 40 mins. When baked place in clean tea towel and leave on rack to cool.
