Tomato sauce – mix all sauce in one bowl. Cover the bowl and keep in a fridge for 2 days.

Cut herring fillets into small slices and dice pickles. Cut onion in half and slice it.

Arrange herring pieces on a plate, evenly put onion, sprinkle with pickles and add the sauce. Then keep herring in a fridge for a day or overnight. Sprinkle with fresh dill before serving.
