I made this for Christmas, 2023 and it was a big hit. Plus, it's very simple. Substitute half & half for heavy cream/whole milk, if that's easier. You can add some sour cream for some tang or add a bit of cream cheese for richness. This should serve around 8 people, although if Tim & Sawyer are around, you may end up with more like 4 servings.

Instructions

Step 1
1. Combine corn, cream, S&P, sugar, & butter in skillet & heat over medium, stirring constantly, until butter melts.
Step 2
2. Meanwhile, whisk whole milk & flour together in a small bowl until smooth.
Step 3
3. Add milk mixture to skillet & stir constantly until it thickens (4-5 minutes).
Step 4
4. Remove from heat & stir in parmesan cheese until it melts. Enjoy!
