Step 1
On low fire in a large pot, let the oil heat up for a few minutes, then add in the onions, the garlic, the mushrooms, and salt and pepper
Step 2
When the onion is transparent, add in the bell peppers, the carrot and the ground paprika. Stir until thoroughly cooked
Step 3
Add in the tomatoes, a cup of water and the laurel. Cover and let it simmer.
Step 4
When the water has reduced to an appropriate level, add in the ground beef, in small chunks.
Step 5
When the ground beef has cooked through, mix the concentrated tomatoes with two tablespoons of water, then mix it into the sauce. Let it simmer for five minutes, then turn the fire off.
