Step 1
In a large bowl add the dry ingredients first, mix and follow that with the milk. With a wooden spoon first and then your hands, work the dough until completely incorporated
Step 2
In a pot place the oil on the heat and bring it up to temperature (check this by dropping a bit of the dough in and as soon as it bubbles immediately the oil is ready)
Step 3
With your hands make balls slightly smaller than a golf ball (they'll expand as they fry) and add them to the oil. After 3-4 minutes (keep stirring to ensure cooking on all sides) they should be brown and ready.
