½ teaspooncelery salt
2 teaspoonssweet smoked paprika
½ teaspoonCayenne pepper
1.8kgchicken wings
3 Tbspmayonnaise
½ tablespoondijon mustard
1lemon
juice only
1green apple
core removed and sliced
0.25red cabbage
core removed and leaves shredded
1Red onion
peeled and finely sliced
125gcarrots
peeled and grated

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200° C. Slide a roasting tray into the oven so it can heat up too
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix together the oil, onion salt celery salt, paprika, and Cayenne pepper along with a good grinding of fresh pepper. Toss. In the chicken wings and coat them in the spiced oil
Step 3
Carefully remove the hot tray from the oven and place the chicken onto it
Step 4
Roast the wings in the oven for 25 minutes. Turning once until they are golden brown and cooked through
Step 5
Whilst the wings are cooking, mix together the mayonnaise lemon juice and mustard. Until they reach a smooth consistency, add all the prepared fruit and vegetables and give the whole lot a good toss to coat
Step 6
Serve the apple slaw with the chicken wings and some good chunks of bread to soak up the flavours.
