A new way to eat your eggs! Try these silky steamed eggs for a change. All you need are a few ingredients, a steamer safe dish and a steamer!

Instructions

Step 1
Fill a steamer or a pot with a steaming rack with water. Bring the water to a boil.
Step 2
Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the chicken broth, and whisk them until well beaten. You can use water or any other type of broth/stock however using broth/stock will result in a more flavorful dish.
Step 3
Optional: Strain the egg and broth mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a heatproof bowl. This helps achieve a smoother texture.
Step 4
Once the water in the steamer or pot is boiling, reduce the heat to medium. Place the bowl with the egg mixture in the steamer or on the rack, cover, and steam for about 12-14 minutes or until the eggs are just set.
Step 5
Carefully remove the bowl from the steamer, and serve the silky steamed eggs hot. You can garnish with sesame oil, soy sauce and green onions if desired.
