Instructions
Step 1
Make the dough, while it is rising make the filling.

Mix all the ingredients.
Step 3
On a floured surface shape into 10 balls.
Step 4
Flatten each ball into a circle.
Step 5
Place a spoonful of the pork mixture in the center of each circle.
Step 6
Pull up the edges around the filling and pinch to seal.
Step 7
Steam for 15 minutes, covered -OR- bake for 25 minutes at 375° on a greased pan.
Filling
Step 8
Heat oil in a large saucepan.
Step 9
Cook the onion and garlic until tender (don't brown).
Step 10
Add the pork and cook til browned.
Step 11
Stir water and soy sauce into the cornstarch then add the ginger and sugar.
Step 12
Add the liquid mixture to the pork mixture.
Step 13
Cook and stir until thickened.
