Instructions
Step 1
One thing I highly recommend doing is to line the cake pan with aluminum foil. Then, spray the aluminum foil with nonstick cooking spray. Finally, pour the prepared brownie mix into the pan to bake. I do this so that I can lift the entire circle brownie out of the pan without worries it will break or stick to the pan.
Step 2
Bake your brownie in the cake pan according to recipe/package directions. It took my brownie about 35 minutes to bake completely. Once the brownie is done, carefully lift it out of the cake pan (by pulling up on the aluminum foil) and allow it to cool completely.
Step 3
Once the brownie is cool, you are ready to cut it. It should easily come away from the foil. Now, you are ready to cut it into a football shape. Grab a sharp knife and read on to see how to do it.
Step 4
Take the top and bottom part of the brownie and put it together on the plate you plan to serve it on. Voila! You have made a football shaped brownie.

Step 6
Now you are ready to add the white icing laces to the football. I used a flat cake decorator tip for the big brownie. For the smaller brownies and strawberries, I piped the white icing laces with a small circular tip. You can find both cake decorating tips along with decorating bags and everything else you need in this Wilton decorator set. Or, you can buy the tips separately.
