Kimchi Fried Rice
KIMCHI FRIED RICE 🇰🇷🍚 written recipe below ⬇️
This South Korean inspired fried rice is packed full of flavour thanks to the fermented cabbage (kimchi) which takes your fried rice to the next level 🚀
👇🏾ingredients👇🏾
-3 garlic cloves
-2 spring onion
-1/4 inch ginger
-1 cup vg kimchi
-1 cup cooked and cooled short grain rice (I used sushi)
-2 tbsp soy sauce
-2 tbsp sesame oil
-sesame seeds, seaweed and sriacha for garnish
👇🏾method👇🏾
-mince your aromatics then fry in a few tbsp of neutral oil for a few minutes, then add your roughly chopped kimchi (seperate the kimchi juice) and fry off for another few minutes.
-add the cooked rice, thouroghly mix then allow to sit and the bottom to brown for a few minutes.
-stir in the kimchi juice, soy sauce and sesame oil then fry off for another few minutes.
-top the rice with spring onion, sesame seeds and sriracha mayo then tuck in and enjoy x
