Restaurant style Garlic Broccoli

Instructions

Step 1
Wash then thinly slice the broccoli into bite size pieces leaving the stem

Step 2
Add crushed garlic to a wok with a little oil and fry on medium low heat for a few seconds being careful not to burn. Add the onion and broccoli a small punch of salt white pepper and sugar and continue frying and stirring for 5 minutes

Add oyster sauce ( vegan oyster sauce if you are vegan) dark soy light soy and veggie broth and bring this to a boil cooking two to three minutes

Step 4
Dissolve the cornstarch in 2 tbsp water and stir it until dissolved then slowly pour into the broccoli and wait for the sauce to thicken . At this stage it’s cooked ( if you prefer it softer cook a little longer ) add toasted sesame oil and serve . I like to garnish mine with some sesame seeds ! Enjoy
